I like this app quite a lot. It quite clearly show the accuracy of the GSM/GPS positioning. One can mail position and even a picture of the parking location via email. Highly recommended. Works like a dream! Ill spend 6 stars if the app could also remember the parking bay in airport parking decks... ;-)

Not happy with this app. Now since Apple updated operating system to iOS 4.3.3 from iOS 4.3.2. It was very accurate before , now it varies in location by 40-100 meters,so if using iPad 2 not wise because you will still have to look for your car.. But the iPhone 4 app seems to work fine and very accurate even with the iOS 4.3.3 update. So not sure why the issue tested both out on a wifi connection

Since the update, it crashes all the time, even after reset. Now my car is in Phoenix, Im in Boston, and my save is no longer accessible. Use at your own risk!!

Better than other similiar apps I paid for. Sweet integration with Google. Simple to use. I had a slight issue after I upgraded to v1.3, but I got lightning response from the dev/support team; after uninstalling and reinstalling the app, I was happy again. Thanks! Some things you might consider adding and Id be willing to fork over a few $$$: 1. History/Breadcrumbs with the option of uploading to WEB. Where Ive been over time would be interesting. 2. A server based timer that sends and alert to my contact with my last location if I dont return my car in time. That way the next time my GPS leads me off a cliff, someone can come save me.

Does a great job. Nice feature of being able to move marker to compensate for GPS accuracy.

The use case for this app is fairly simple. You use your iPhone to tag a location (say where you parked your car), then you wander around and do whatever, and then when youre ready it guides you back to your car via GPS. A feature that you can elect to use, if its valuable to you, is the parking meter function. This lets you set a timer and be notified when your meter is about to run out. This feature would be super useful if I was downtown during business hours. You can also take photos of where you are, like leaving a trail of breadcrumbs, and you can email or text your location to others. Loads of features - highly recommended!

Park button never illuminates and it keeps locking up. Will not function.

I had neglected to have Location Services set to ON in the iPhone General settings and great support got me on the right track. I really like everything about the app that my 3G can handle. If you have a compass like the 3GS or iPhone 4 then I think it would be useful to have line of sight directions available in walking mode. The scenario for this is either huge parking lots or during festivals etc. when they turn fields into parking areas. In those cases you dont have streets to follow. This is a nice app and the support is great.

I cant even open the app. It crashes on contact since the last update.

Description is a lie. Basic functionality is only available after In-App purchase. Would probably pay for it if they were honest up front! NOT NOW!!

The previous review is completely inaccurate and false. The In-app purchase is for the Parking Timer only. All other functionality is FREE and works perfectly. I particularly like the new direction arrow. Users should either read the description or contact support if they are having issues.

Ive been using Backtomycar for a year and it keeps improving. I was surprised to see such poor reviews, so I tried it again to see what reviewers were talking about. I have iPhone 3S and app doesnt crash. Its also FREE -- only feature that costs .99 is parking meter notification. All other functionality is free. If these users are having problems, did they contact support? When I first downloaded app last year I had a question about it. They emailed me right away and were very helpful.
